Shabbat Rocks! is a family friendly Shabbat experience. We start with a community dinner, continue with Shabbat prayers through song, and end the night with an oneg to celebrate the joy of Shabbat together. Younger children are invited to participate in the Shabbat candle lighting and story time with the Rabbi. Participants are encouraged to sing along, make music with the egg shakers, and create “ruach.”
Cost of dinner – $5 per person (for all people in your party who are eating please – it is easier to keep the cost the same for all ages – adults and children – so please help us out by contributing if you are able!) Please bring cash or check to the dinner.
Please RSVP to Rabbi Jody (educator@sinaitemplecu.org) with the number of people in your family who will be joining us for Shabbat by noon on Thursday ! If you have specific food allergies or dietary restrictions, please share those in your RSVP.
