Rabbi Alan delivers a formal sermon at each of our High Holiday services. Here you will find the written text of these sermons (which sometimes varies slightly from the way in which they are delivered). Though Rabbi Alan also speaks at most Friday night services, and at many of the English Service and Egalitarian Traditional Minyan services, those remarks are generally based on outlines or notes, rather than a complete text.
The Egalitarian Traditional Minyan also has a custom of having members of the minyan prepare drashot during the High Holidays. These provide insight into individual’s backgrounds and their “Jewish Journeys.” Many of these statements are archived here.
