Shabbat Rocks

This early, 45 minute musical service is open to all. It is an inviting and entertaining, participative service. Younger children are invited to participate in the Shabbat candle lighting and story time with the Rabbi. Participants are encouraged to sing along, make music with the egg shakers, and create “ruach.”

The evening begins with dinner at 5:30 pm followed by the service at 6:30 pm. Dinner consists of a variety of pastas from Za’s or pizza from Monicals, and families are encouraged to bring sides, desserts or drinks. The cost for dinner is $6 per adult or per eating child. Please RSVP with the number of adults and kids who will eat so that pizza can be ordered accordingly; please RSVP by 12 pm on Thursday. RSVP for the dinner to Laura Bleill at shabbatrocks@sinaitemplecu.org.
