Sinai Temple offers youth programming. Typically, we will have 3-4 programs a year for children in three different age groups.
- KIDdush Club is for our youngest members (Newborn-2nd Grade) and an adult. We have havdallah programs, read stories and do projects related to the Jewish content, celebrate holidays and have Shabbat Rocks! worship services.
- JYG – our Junior Youth Group – is for students in grades 3-7, coinciding with the Hebrew School/Religious School program. Events may include miniature golf, bowling, roller skating, visiting a trampoline park, game night, etc. We also have NEXT DOR services on the 3rd Shabbat of the month, along with our Shabbat Rocks!
- CUTY is Champaign Urbana Temple Youth. CUTY is for our post B’nai Mitzvah students (8th-12th grade). We have lock ins, movie nights, lead services for the congregation and participate in some regional youth group events as well. CUTY is not affiliated with a national youth organization but instead serves the local Jewish teens and allows them to have leadership opportunities.
